Our small family winery was established in Dubňany in 1999. We continued the long family tradition of growing grapes of our fathers and grandfathers. The family farms less than one hectare of vineyards on the Dubňanská hora vineyard. The fact that the winery is truly family-run is evidenced, among other things, by the fact that we process all the grapes harvested in the vineyards ourselves.
Our winery focuses on the production of premium and Moravian-land wines of high quality. The most popular varieties of white wines are Neuburské and Hibernal, which ripen annually in a very good location until the grapes are selected. Of the red varieties, it is Cabernet Moravia, which has its origins in the nearby Moravian New Village.
In the production of white wines we use the technology of controlled fermentation, where the fermentation temperature is around 15 oC. Emphasis is placed on primary aromatics, stable colour and, above all, harmonious balance and freshness of the wine.
Red wines fermented at 32 oC are stripped of unpleasant malic acid and then aged for several months in classic barrels and French barriques. The wines have a high colour, a strong spicy aroma and a full long flavour.
The family wine cellar is also open to smaller groups of visitors who can take part in a guided tasting of our wines. Accommodation in peaceful surroundings can then be found in a nearby guesthouse.
