The family winery of Hana and Ing. Radek Bartoník and his sons Jakub and Dominik are based on a long family tradition. Not only do they produce small batches of distinctive wines of maximum quality, but this family business specializes in the production of other products from grapes, musts and syrups from their own orchards and plantations. The Bartonik family farms 15 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards of three municipalities of the Podluží region in Moravská Nová Ves - Stará hora, Mikulčice - Kněžská and Lužice - Na strání. In addition, they have a hectare of elderberry orchards. They produce over 35 000 bottles of wine, 50 000 bottles of syrups and over 10 000 bottles of fruit and grape musts. However, the uniqueness of the family business, which in 2018 won a major domestic business competition and was awarded the title of Česká spořitelna Živnostník roku 2018 of the South Moravian Region, lies in its focus on the production of specialities. The product portfolio includes 100% grape musts, wine jelly, verjus - wine sour, desserts and Belgian pralines filled with wine jelly and last but not least fruit and herb syrups and marmalade - elderberry jelly. Among other things, the Bartoníks run the Pension U Kostela and a tourist information centre in Mikulčice. For guests of the family business it is possible to organize guided tastings or excursions to the cellars in Mikulčice and Lužice, thematic bicycle trips through the cellar streets and vineyards with the legendary name Tour de vinohrad. The aim of our family company is to offer a comprehensive range of services including our own production of varietal wines, quality accommodation services for our guests, including wine tourism services, while maintaining traditional Slovak hospitality.
