About the winery

For me, wine is a love, a way of life and a constant challenge to new knowledge, study and humility. My goal is therefore to produce wines with an emphasis on minimal oenological intervention, high quality and with preservation of the acquired terroir. For me, being involved in the creation of wine that is the perfect product of the surrounding nature is not only a question of existence, but also a joy, a kind of art and a justified pride and pride.

The Prokeš family has its family history set in the picturesque wine-growing village of Němčičky. He began to fully devote himself to winemaking in 1999. Ing. Kamil Prokeš, Ph.D. identified with the life credo of Prof. Moser and Prof. Kraus "The untried is the unknowable". This led him to winemaking itself as a profession, especially to the production of sparkling wines using the classic technology of fermentation in the bottle, to sabrage, to the production of oil from grape seeds or to the production of wine without any additives or additives and with a minimum content of sulphur dioxide. The current winery was founded by Kamil Prokeš with the first vintage in 2015. The grapes are sourced from his own two-hectare vineyards, with Riesling and Pálava coming from the Mikulov region, where these varieties have the best conditions. The wines are produced in the wine yard in Velké Němčice. Kamil Prokeš strictly adheres to the principle of preserving terroir, eliminating chemical preparations and minimizing oenological interventions. His cellar farm thus produces wines that are the perfect product of the surrounding nature. Both white and red wines are produced mainly in ceramic vessels with a capacity of 200 to 1000 litres.
