We are a small family winery with a tradition of wine production dating back to the 19th century. Our experience in wine production has been handed down from generation to generation. During production, we combine tried and tested methods with modern processing techniques, resulting in fine wines with a distinctive aroma, often complemented by residual sugar with a light acidity.

Wine production has been handed down from generation to generation since the 19th century. My ancestors were among the first to have Viches for pouring wine in Dolní Kounice (Vich = wine pouring licence, a straw ornament that was hung in front of houses where wine could be poured).
After the revolution, all the vineyards were returned to us, but my grandparents decided to sell most of the vineyards. At that time there was no space and technology to farm and process such a large number of vineyards. Instead, they stayed in their current jobs and pursued and continue to pursue winemaking as a hobby. I have been driven to winemaking and viticulture since I was a young boy, fully embracing the craft in 2011 when I was 21 years old. I made my first wines from varieties typical for Dolní Kounice - Frankovka and Milerka. Subsequently, I gradually gained experience and increased my production. The turning point was when I met my current wife and we decided to go all in with the winery. In 2022 we founded our current winery, RS Šustovi Winery, and in that year we also completed our new wine cellar in Kupařovice, where our wines are currently being produced.
Our goal is to produce honest wines with pleasant aromas and a nice aftertaste. In our cellar you can taste over 22 varieties of wine, we produce wines in smaller batches.
Rosé wines with higher residual sugar (around 100g/l) made from Cabernet Cortis and Pinot Noir varieties.
