Our range consists mostly of dry wines, but for varieties that reach high grape maturity, we keep a pleasant residue of natural grape sugar. Our winery specialties include making wines that are aged on new French barrels, pressing oil from grape seeds and making homemade grape jams. With our small production we want to show that, compared to the wine world, it is possible to produce very high quality wines of high quality in our conditions.
It is said that Pinot Noir came to us in the 14th century during the reign of Charles IV. However, the authenticity of this information has never been proven. In our country, it is grown in all wine-growing subregions, the most widespread is in the Velkopavlovice and Mikulov regions. Pinot Noir from the vicinity of Mělník, Litoměřice, in Moravia from the Bzenecko and Mutěnice regions are excellent.
