About the winery

Currently the winery is represented by Mgr. Ing. Jiří Těthal, Ph.D., who studied viticulture and viticulture at Mendel University. The individual wines, which are smaller batches, reflect both the specific variety and the typicality of the vintage as well as the unmistakable terroir of Blatnice. All of this is influenced in no small part by the conscientious work in the vineyard and cellar. The grapes come exclusively from our own production and are harvested with an emphasis on a high degree of ripeness and sugar content.

The tradition of viticulture and winemaking goes back in the family to the century before last. Today it is represented by Mgr. Ing. Jiří Těthal, Ph.D., who studied viticulture and viticulture at Mendel University. Part of the production is carried out in an authentic, 250-year-old Blatnice cellar, following the original, generations-tested procedures, enriched with some elements of the latest knowledge. The individual wines, which are small batches, reflect both the specific variety and the typicality of the vintage and the unmistakable terroir of Blatnica. All of this is influenced in no small part by the conscientious work in the vineyard and cellar.
