Come and taste the best of non-commercial Czech wines accompanied by samples from abroad. This exhibition is designed to present the wines of hobby winemakers, gardeners and small winemakers, which you will not taste anywhere else. Over 1,800 samples will show a wide variety of aromas, flavours, styles and regions. Open from 10.00 a.m.

This exhibition continues the tradition of wine exhibitions organized by the Czech and Slovak Union of Gardeners, which are always held in a two-year cycle alternately in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. In Slovakia, the exhibition is traditionally always held in Skalica, in the Czech Republic the venue changes, after Hustopeče (2008), Vracov (2012), Břeclav (2016), it was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic Covid 19. It is the largest wine exhibition held within the Czech Horticultural Association. The event is held under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture of the Czech Republic. The quality in terms of expertise will be ensured by members of the wine committee of the Czech Horticultural Society and other experienced winemakers. The tasting of the samples sent will take place on 27 April 2024, the members of the tasting committees will be holders of tasting tests and experienced tasters from among the members of the ČZS. The actual public tasting will take place on 11.5.2024 in Prague at the National Museum of Agriculture on Letná and on 18.5.2024 in Olomouc at the Flora Olomouc Exhibition Centre. In Prague, the award ceremony will take place and the main prizes will be awarded to the Champions of the exhibition according to the criteria specified in the statutes. The estimated number of samples for visitors to taste could reach about 1800. The programme in both Prague and Olomouc will include a performance of dulcimer music. Opening of the exhibition from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
