Come to Mikulov on the second weekend in September, from the 6th to the 8th, and enjoy three days full of wine. As always, the chateau will host the National Wine Competition of the Mikulov sub-region, where you can taste several hundred wine samples. A total of six stages will host the most famous names of the Czech and Slovak music scene, local dulcimer music and folklore ensembles. The icing on the cake is the historical parade led by King Wenceslas IV and Queen Chantal Poullain on Mikulov Square at noon on Saturday. The full programme can be found on the website.
