We are a small family winery farming in the villages Hostěrádky-Rešov and Újezd u Brna on the so-called Slavkov battlefield - Austerlitz. Our vineyards complete the landscape on the steep slopes of the Stara Hora Mountain, where the best wine is Veltliner Green, Neuburg and Chardonnay, especially Cabernet Moravia from the blue varieties. We farm 2 hectares of farmland in a transitional period of organic farming and our aim is to produce great terroir wine with as little intervention as possible. We have been trying to do this since 1996 and will continue to do so.
It is said that Pinot Noir came to us in the 14th century during the reign of Charles IV. However, the authenticity of this information has never been proven. In our country, it is grown in all wine-growing subregions, the most widespread is in the Velkopavlovice and Mikulov regions. Pinot Noir from the vicinity of Mělník, Litoměřice, in Moravia from the Bzenecko and Mutěnice regions are excellent.
