Our family winery was founded in 1991. Ing. Pavel Svoboda. Now the second generation continues. Both sons are graduates of the Wine School in Valtice. The philosophy of the company is to produce original Pálava wines from grapes from our own vineyards, which are situated on the slopes of Pálava. You can taste our wines in the 16th century tasting cellar, where you can learn about the history of Habány. You can taste the Blue Portugal from the vineyard located on the archaeological site where the Venus of Věstonice was found. Visit our www.ubytovanipodpalavou.eu.
Základní charakteristika vína
Pálava was cultivated by Ing. Josef Veverka by crossing the varieties Gewürztraminer and Müller Thurgau. Probably the best results are achieved mainly in the Mikulov subregion, in the vicinity of the municipalities of Perná, Pavlov or Bulhary, then in Lechovice, Popice or Čejkovice. Pálava is often automatically perceived as a sweet wine, i.e. with a higher residual sugar but this is not always the rule. In the dry version we discover the charm and beauty of this variety.
