The winery was founded in 1997 by Petr Rychtařík together with Jana Isopová. The volume of the cellar at that time was 90 hl of wine.Grapes were imported from small growers from Moravia. In 2001-2004, as a married couple, they planted a vineyard of 16 ha. Today the cellar has a volume of 760 hl and is filled annually with wine from grapes grown in Slane Kvíc, on the Na křížku vineyard. The cellar also processes grapes from small growers on request. Barrel sales are still predominant, but bottled wines with the original label and emblem of the royal town of Slaný are also becoming known to customers. In autumn 2013, we will move to a brand new premises just 50 m from the current premises. There will be more space for wine tastings and other wine-related events.
It is said that Pinot Noir came to us in the 14th century during the reign of Charles IV. However, the authenticity of this information has never been proven. In our country, it is grown in all wine-growing subregions, the most widespread is in the Velkopavlovice and Mikulov regions. Pinot Noir from the vicinity of Mělník, Litoměřice, in Moravia from the Bzenecko and Mutěnice regions are excellent.
