About winemaker

The philosophy of our family winery is based on the love of wine and nature. We strive to make the best wine in the most environmentally friendly way, which never ceases to surprise us. Quality is born in the vineyard, which is why we work only with healthy grapes that we obtain from permanent and long-standing growers in our Mikulov region. Our requirements are a reasonable load on the bush, with an average yield and as little unnatural intervention as possible. Once the raw material reaches our mill, we process it as gently as possible, without unnecessary intervention.

Basic characteristics of wine

Sauvignon belongs among the most popular three white wines together with the Chardonnay and Riesling varieties. It is assumed that it comes from the French region of Bordeaux or from the Loire region. The most typical Sauvignons can be found in the Znojmo or Mikulov region.
