Our family winery is located in the Velkopavlovice wine subregion, in Čejkovice near Hodonín - the third largest wine-growing village in Moravia. The area of the village is 2 560 ha, of which less than 500 ha are planted with vines. This area is divided into 10 vineyard lines. Since 2002, we have been specializing in the production of premium and special wines from grapes coming from vineyards that are 8-25 years old.
It is said that Pinot Noir came to us in the 14th century during the reign of Charles IV. However, the authenticity of this information has never been proven. In our country, it is grown in all wine-growing subregions, the most widespread is in the Velkopavlovice and Mikulov regions. Pinot Noir from the vicinity of Mělník, Litoměřice, in Moravia from the Bzenecko and Mutěnice regions are excellent.
