About the winery
A public wine tasting exhibition featuring wines awarded the Gold Medal of the Czech Wine Salon, held in the cellars of Valtice Castle. Since 2000, it has offered an overview of wines from all wine-growing regions of the Czech Republic. Every year, the exhibition features the hundred best wines selected by tasters as part of the Wine Salon—the national wine competition of the Czech Republic. Several tasting programs are available, and wines are also for sale. You will also find an educational exhibition on grape varieties and the history of winemaking. In 2018, 2021, and 2022, the Wine Salon was named Champion of the TOP Wine Destination competition.
The Czech Wine Salon is located in the cellars of the Valtice State Castle.
