Moravian and Czech wine-producers will participate this year in Pro Wein, the world’s trade fair for wines and wine-making, in the record-breaking numbers. Altogether 15 Czech wine-producers will present their wines in Düsseldorf between March 19th and 21st, 2017. The exposition of the Czech Republic, as in previous years, is being organized and mainly funded by the Czech Wine Fund.
Wines from the Czech Republic will be presented in hall number 15 (stand number J17). Altogether 15 wineries will present their wines also through attractive form of supervised winetasting under the leadership of a well-recognized world’s expert, Mr. Liam Steevenson, the holder of the title “Master of Wine”. Mr. Steevenson will present typical Czech varieties, such as Riesling, Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir and Palava.
A designated degustation area within the Czech exposition will be open for the whole duration of the Trade Fair; overthere, each producer will be represented by two wines made of the above-listed varieties.
ProWein Trade Fair, this year in its’ 23rd volume, is a world’s biggest presentation of wines and wineries, in which, as a habit, representatives of world’s first-class wineries participate. Approximately 55,000 visitors will have a chance to attend some 6,000 exhibitors from 57 countries, series of presentations and degustation together with rich complementary programme consisting of lectures and other specialized events during the three March days. ProWein offers valuable selection of contemporary offer in wine sector and at the same time presents the latest trends in world wine-making.
