The next event in the series of early-evening open-air tastings—held every Thursday before sunset at the tasting stand in the Rajská Vineyard in Znojmo—will introduce you to Moravia’s most widely grown grape variety, Veltlínské zelené, in a variety of styles. You’ll taste straightforward, fresh wines for everyday dining, typical Znojmo Veltlínské Zelené with a peppery-almond profile, and Veltlínské Zelené that have been barrel-aged. Join us in comparing how wines evolve through bottle aging, and together we’ll explore the influence of the vintage, vineyard plots, and specific terroir. Throughout the evening, you’ll taste 8 samples from four Znojmo wineries: LAHOFER, ZNOVÍN, HANZEL, and WALDBERG.
