In the two-day course you will get to know yourself in terms of sensory qualities and practically test your sight, smell and taste. You will gain an orientation in practical wine tasting, its taste, aroma or possible defects. The course is designed for wine enthusiasts as well as for practitioners who work with wine on a daily basis. Participants of the course will gain a broader horizon and orientation in practical wine tasting, learn to recognize the basic tastes and aromas of wine, including the most common diseases and defects of wine.
Day 1 - theoretical + practical teaching on the premises of Mendel University in Brno (Zemědělská 5); 7 teaching hours
Day 2 - visit to the National Wine Salon in Valtice (joint departure by bus from the Mendel campus); programme A1 - free tasting
