The variety provides wine of excellent quality, dark red to blue-red colour and harmonious taste.

Medium early to late blue grape variety. Crossbreed (Revolta x Alibernet) x André. The variety was bred by prof. Ing. Vilém Kraus, CSc. in Lednice in Moravia.

The grape is medium large, sparse to medium dense with a medium-long stalk. The berry is small to medium-sized, broadly elliptical. The colour of the berry and flesh is blue-black. The sprouting time is early. Harvest maturity begins in mid-October. It is moderately resistant to fungal infections. It is resistant to damage by winter and spring frosts. The yield is medium high.

It can be used as an addition to varieties with lower red wine colour and lower fullness

It is suitable for integrated grape production.

The variety provides wine of excellent quality, dark red to blue-red colour and harmonious taste. It can be used as an addition to varieties with lower red wine colour and lower fullness, such as Blauer Portugieser or Frankovka, in worse years also Cabernet Sauvignon.
