O vinařství
The company Žernosecké vinařství s.r.o. was founded on April 1, 1995 and smoothly continued the production activities of the Wine Breeding Station in Velké Žernosky. At present, the company manages 31 hectares of vineyards and the annual production is on average 180 000 bottles of 0.75 l. After extensive renovation of the chateau and reconstruction of the entire winery premises, the company has expanded its activities to include wine tastings, corporate wine gatherings and other social events for friends of Czech wine from Velké Žernosky. We also provide accommodation directly in the chateau area.
Základní charakteristika vína
Saint Laurence is our most widespread and most cultivated blue variety (9% of the total area of vineyards). Saint Laurence wine is also one of the main varieties used in the production of St. Martin’s young wine. That's why it matches well with roast goose or duck.
