The small family winery has a tradition of three generations of winemakers (grandfather Antonín, father František and son Jan). The practical skills handed down from father to son are complemented by the theoretical knowledge of enologist Jan Polehni, who acquired this knowledge by studying viticulture at Mendel University. The winery processes grapes from its own two hectares of vineyards. It produces wine gently, with as little intervention as possible. The result is small batches of distinctive wines. Thanks to a modern approach, tradition and hard work, you can taste unique wines.
The variety was bred by the director of the wine school in Klosterneuburg in Austria, Dr. F. Zweigelt in 1922 and its expansion to other countries was credited after the Second World War to Dr. Lenz Moser.
