A young winery from Slovácko, which builds on the tradition and experience of several winemakers and winemaking families from Petrovo and its surroundings. The winery manages about 1 ha of its own and leased vineyards in the White Carpathians. The annual production of several thousand bottles is varietally reduced to wines typical of the White Carpathians, such as Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Veltliner, Franconia and others. The winery's philosophy is based on gentle processing of grapes and minimizing the use of chemical and auxiliary agents during fermentation and aging of wine. The main tasting area of the winery is the historic wine cellars of Petrov-Plze, known to Czech viewers from the series Slovácko sa nesúdí, Chetnik humoresky and the film Jak básníkům chutná život.
Pinot Blanc was formerly called Burgundy White. However, after the pressure of France to change the name, all these wines were renamed to Pinot, including the Burgundian whites. This variety is widespread in all six of our sub-areas, however, it can be found extensively in the Litoměřice and Slovácko regions, and it also achieves excellent results in the Znojmo and Mikulov regions.
