We are a small family winery that produces wines of the highest quality. We care about quality and not quantity - our annual production is 10,000 bottles. The production and processing is handed down from father to son, so we are also trying more modern technologies of controlled fermentation and acid reduction. Some wines are also processed by conventional barrel fermentation. We produce wines from our own vineyards. With our immediate family we cultivate about 1 ha of vineyards in different locations such as back mountain, front mountain, okrouhlice.
The variety was bred by the director of the wine school in Klosterneuburg in Austria, Dr. F. Zweigelt in 1922 and its expansion to other countries was credited after the Second World War to Dr. Lenz Moser.
