About winemaker
Our wine company Vinja is purely a family affair. We grow and process our own grapes in 15 different varieties. We have vineyards in two cadastres, in Přítluky and in Brumovice. They are planted in the excellent vineyards of these villages. We strive to achieve the highest quality by reducing the number of grapes on the bushes.
Basic characteristics of wine
Welschreisling is an old and highly prized variety of unknown origin. It is one of the most cultivated in our country (8.5% of the total area of vineyards). Excellent terroir for "Vlašák" is offered mainly by the Pálavské vrchy, Mikulov, Slovácko and Velkopavlovice subregions or the Šobes vineyard in the Znojmo region.
