The year 2025 marks the 670th anniversary of the publication of the model vineyard order for Moravia, which was issued in 1355 by John Henry of Luxembourg, Margrave of Moravia, a loyal brother of Charles IV.

It was at the time when Charles IV. significantly enriched our vineyards by importing new seedlings from Burgundy and the Rhineland. Thanks to Charles, Burgundy Blue, or Pinot Noir, now known as Pinot Noir, and probably also Pinot Gris, or Pinot Gris. Discover this important period in the history of winemaking and try samples of these varieties with us. The event takes place as part of the accompanying programme of the Královopolské vintage festival. More info about the event also on the event website.
