The Žernosecký basket is an exhibition and tasting of wines from winemakers from the Porta Bohemica microregion, mainly from the villages of Malé Žernoseky, Velké Žernoseky and Žalhostice, but you can also find wines from Hlinná, Michalovice and Malíč. The beginning of grape growing and wine production in this region dates back to the 12th century and continues today with the production of quality wines.
The wines are also exhibited by invited guests from Litoměřice. You can therefore taste a wide range of wines, with a nice aroma and characteristic taste for this region, from 14 to 18 winemakers, several of whom are entering some of their wines in the competition, the results of which will be announced immediately after the opening of the Žernosecký Basket at 13.15.
Transportation from Litoměřice is provided by excursion train. It is also possible to use public transport, both bus and train.
Refreshments and outdoor seating with musical accompaniment are available throughout the event.
