An excellent quality wine, dark red to blue-red in color, with fruity and floral aromas, a fruity and spicy taste, harmonious and delicately aromatic.

A modern PIWI variety (resistant to fungal diseases), bred with the aim of combining the quality potential for producing quality wines with high resistance to powdery mildew and downy mildew. It ranks among the new generation of interspecific hybrids suitable for organic and sustainable viticulture.

About the variety

An excellent quality wine, dark red to blue-red in color, with fruity and floral aromas, a fruity and spicy taste, harmonious and delicately aromatic.

A blue late-ripening variety created by crossing (Frankovka x Svatovavřinecké) x (Merlot x Seibel 13.666).

Leaves small to medium-sized, pentagonal in shape, blade profile V-shaped.
Clusters medium-sized, medium-dense to dense. Berries small, circular in profile. Skin color blue-black, flesh without anthocyanin coloration.

When grown under fungicide protection, the variety is moderately resistant to gray mold, resistant to downy mildew, and resistant to powdery mildew. Grape yield is moderately high, must sugar content is moderately high.
