The company VÍNO BLATEL, a.s. was founded in 1990 and focuses on the processing of grapes and the production and sale of wine. The company's headquarters are located in the village of Blatnice pod Svatým Antonínkem, in a region with exceptionally favourable conditions for growing grapes. The company manages 189 hectares of vineyards. The main varieties predominating in the vineyards are Riesling, Müller Thurgau, Muscat of Moravia, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The company is the largest domestic grower of the Merlot variety.
