Elwine Velké Bílovice Winery is a small family winery that focuses on the production of high quality quality wines, with an emphasis on organic vineyard management and the cultivation of organic wine varieties such as Johanniter, Solaris, Hibernal, Souvignier gris or Cabernet Cortis, in addition to the classic varieties of Riesling, Sauvignon or Pinot Noir. We want to produce the best, tastiest and most perfect wines that our soil, our climate, our work and our passion for wine can provide.
Basic characteristics of wine
It is said that Pinot Noir came to us in the 14th century during the reign of Charles IV. However, the authenticity of this information has never been proven. In our country, it is grown in all wine-growing subregions, the most widespread is in the Velkopavlovice and Mikulov regions. Pinot Noir from the vicinity of Mělník, Litoměřice, in Moravia from the Bzenecko and Mutěnice regions are excellent.
