About winemaker

The establishment of our family winery dates back to 1992, when we decided to build on a long family tradition and rich experience in growing grapes. Currently we farm 15 hectares of vineyards planted on the first-class slopes of Čejkovice, situated in one of the warmest locations in South Moravia with very favourable climatic and soil conditions. We specialize in quality wines with a distinctive character, which are produced already on the bush in the vineyard. This is the only way we can compete.

Basic characteristics of wine

It is said that Pinot Noir came to us in the 14th century during the reign of Charles IV. However, the authenticity of this information has never been proven. In our country, it is grown in all wine-growing subregions, the most widespread is in the Velkopavlovice and Mikulov regions. Pinot Noir from the vicinity of Mělník, Litoměřice, in Moravia from the Bzenecko and Mutěnice regions are excellent.
