Vinum Moravicum a.s. is a young wine company founded in 2005 in Bzenec. This picturesque South Moravian town and its surroundings are known for their rich wine tradition. The geological conditions, the local microclimate and the first-class soil fertility create conditions for growing top grape cultivars, which are transformed during processing into quality varietal wines with an unmistakable character.
Basic characteristics of wine
Welschreisling is an old and highly prized variety of unknown origin. It is one of the most cultivated in our country (8.5% of the total area of vineyards). Excellent terroir for "Vlašák" is offered mainly by the Pálavské vrchy, Mikulov, Slovácko and Velkopavlovice subregions or the Šobes vineyard in the Znojmo region.
