At Baraque Winery, we describe wines not only sensorially, but we also bring a bit of poetry to their descriptions and, following the example of Karel Čapek, liken them to human characters and personalities. The French name of the winery is, among other things, the name of a dream of a winery surrounded by vineyards. It materialized in the form of a production building and a representative space of the architecturally attractive Baraque wine gallery near the Slunečná lookout tower in Velké Pavlovice.
Základní charakteristika vína
Gewürztraminer or Traminer rot is white wine. More precisely, it is a variety of white wine. So why is it called red? This is due to the reddish colour of the grapes. It is grown in all sub-areas, most of which can be found in the Velkopavlovice, Bzenec, Mikulov or Čáslav or Most regions. As with Pálava, Traminer will show its beauty, aroma and spiciness especially in the dry version.
