About winemaker
We are a small family winery located in the very popular south of Moravia in the wine-growing village of Novosedly. We grow the grapes from which we subsequently make wine ourselves, or we buy them from local growers. Winemaking is our hobby, not our profession, so we take care of each variety so that its quality stands out among the competition.
Basic characteristics of wine
Welschreisling is an old and highly prized variety of unknown origin. It is one of the most cultivated in our country (8.5% of the total area of vineyards). Excellent terroir for "Vlašák" is offered mainly by the Pálavské vrchy, Mikulov, Slovácko and Velkopavlovice subregions or the Šobes vineyard in the Znojmo region.
