About winemaker
A young family winery that strives to be as gentle as possible with the grapes, which we then transfer into wine! We produce typically varietal wines of the Znojmo sub-region, reflecting the soil and place of origin. The wines are produced in 400 litre Slavonian oak barrels and stainless steel tanks of up to 600 litres, with an ageing potential of 2-8 years.
Basic characteristics of wine
Gewürztraminer or Traminer rot is white wine. More precisely, it is a variety of white wine. So why is it called red? This is due to the reddish colour of the grapes. It is grown in all sub-areas, most of which can be found in the Velkopavlovice, Bzenec, Mikulov or Čáslav or Most regions. As with Pálava, Traminer will show its beauty, aroma and spiciness especially in the dry version.
