About winemaker

We started in 1992 in our parents' small family cellars, literally from small demijohns and barrels. From 1995 until today we have been adapting an older farm yard in the centre of Velké Bílovice for wine production. Here we press, ferment and also "train" the wines to maturity. Since 2011 we have moved the bottling and sale of wines to a new modern building again in the centre, this time in the cellar district of Belegrada.

Basic characteristics of wine

Pinot Gris is known all over the world. Pinot comes from the French pin as the pine cone resembles the shape of a pinot grape. Pinot Gris is also interesting by the fact that although it is a white wine, the color of the grape is almost blue, more precisely gray-blue-red. It is widespread in all sub-areas, mostly in the Velkopavlovice region.
