About winemaker

The company was founded in 1994. It currently manages 65 hectares of vineyards and focuses its production mainly on appellation wines, but also produces quality wines of the land. The company also imports foreign raw material, which it controls year-round to meet the demand for barrel wines. The company's philosophy is to maintain the highest possible quality in every range of its products, all at reasonable prices. The target group is wine shops, restaurants and specialty wine stores.

Basic characteristics of wine

Pálava was cultivated by Ing. Josef Veverka by crossing the varieties Gewürztraminer and Müller Thurgau. Probably the best results are achieved mainly in the Mikulov subregion, in the vicinity of the municipalities of Perná, Pavlov or Bulhary, then in Lechovice, Popice or Čejkovice. Pálava is often automatically perceived as a sweet wine, i.e. with a higher residual sugar but this is not always the rule. In the dry version we discover the charm and beauty of this variety.
