About winemaker

The wines from the Lobkowicz Chateau Winery in Roudnice nad Labem reflect the character of the northernmost Czech wine sub-region. Typical representatives of these mineral and fresh wines are Riesling, Müller Thurgau and Sylvan Green. Traditionally prized are red wines prepared by the method of uncontrolled fermentation in open vats and then aged exclusively in oak barrels - Pinot Noir, Svatovavřinecké or the lesser-known Fratava variety. Lobkowicz Winery Roudnice processes exclusively grapes from its own vineyards located in the meander of the Elbe River.
