About winemaker

We are a small, family-run winery from the large wine-growing village of Mutěnice in Slovácko. Grapes for the production of our wines are grown on 6 vineyards in 2 vineyard lines of the village Mutěnice. The basic varieties are Pinot Gris, Sauvignon and Riesling. Most of our wines are dry, prepared with an emphasis on purity, freshness, long aftertaste and a distinct varietal character of each wine. Because we are a small winery, we are able to prepare our wines down to the last detail. Thus, we can repeatedly boast the designation of "Wine Producer awarded the title Salon of Wines of the Czech Republic.

Basic characteristics of wine

Pinot Gris is known all over the world. Pinot comes from the French pin as the pine cone resembles the shape of a pinot grape. Pinot Gris is also interesting by the fact that although it is a white wine, the color of the grape is almost blue, more precisely gray-blue-red. It is widespread in all sub-areas, mostly in the Velkopavlovice region.
