The company VINNÉ SKLEPY MARŠOVICE v.o.s. was founded in 1998. The winery was founded and is owned by brothers-in-law Václav Tropp and Eduard Novotný, who together strive to grow wine according to traditional practices using modern technology. The main goal of the family winery is to continue the long tradition of growing grapes in the village. Currently, the company manages 35 hectares of vineyards. Annual wine production is approximately 120 000 litres.
Gewürztraminer or Traminer rot is white wine. More precisely, it is a variety of white wine. So why is it called red? This is due to the reddish colour of the grapes. It is grown in all sub-areas, most of which can be found in the Velkopavlovice, Bzenec, Mikulov or Čáslav or Most regions. As with Pálava, Traminer will show its beauty, aroma and spiciness especially in the dry version.
