Family winery Hanuš

From the U studánky vineyard we have a view of the panorama of Kutná Hora with the dominant St. Barbara's Church and from the St. Kateřina vineyard we can see up to Sněžka in good visibility. Both vineyards are connected by a beautiful bicycle and pedestrian path.

We planted our first vineyard in 2015 on a green meadow and now farm just under 4 hectares. We pick the grapes in the traditional manual way with the help of family, friends and seasonal workers. We use new technologies in the cellar, but when it comes to red wines, we rely on traditional practices such as long aging in wooden barrels. We use controlled fermentation to ensure that the typical aromas of the variety are preserved.

We regularly present our wines at wine events in the Kutná Hora region (Vinobraní na Kačině, Svatováclavské slavnosti, etc.) and in the summer months we organize outdoor tastings, the dates of which we inform about through our FB page.

Specialties in the menu

In addition to the classic wines, in 2019 we planted a brand new variety Donauveltliner (a piwi variety bred from the Veltliner green in the Danube region) and in 2021 other piwi varieties such as Cabernet Cortis, Souvignier Gris and Brönner.
