Melkus family winery

The Melkus family winery was founded by Milada Melkusová. All vineyards are in integrated production. The Melkus family grows classic Moravian grape varieties, but in their vineyards they have new varieties such as Hibernal, Johaniter, Solaris, Monarch, Laurot and the rarities Erilon, Savilon and Rondo, Donauriesling, Souvignier gris and Regent. The grapes are processed using a combination of modern and traditional methods. The white wine is aged in stainless steel and stoneware containers. Some red and white wines are aged in barriques. The winery includes a modern guesthouse.
