About the winery

Since 2004, the Minařík family winery has been following the tradition of wine production in the family of Miloš Lukes, where they jointly manage 2 ha of vineyards in the Kozí horky and Trkmansko areas. They focus on the production of high quality varietal wines of smaller batches. The history of this remarkable cellar dates back to 1592. Processing is carried out using a combination of modern and traditional vinification methods. Red wines are prepared by open maceration in vats. All the wines are aged in wooden barrels and, after training, stored in stainless steel tanks and gradually bottled.

Since 2004, the Minařík family winery has continued the tradition of wine production in the family of Miloš Lukeš, to which Vladimír Minařík was married. Together they manage 2 ha of vineyards in the Kozí horky and Trkmansko districts. The Minaříks focus on the production of high quality varietal wines in small batches. The history of this remarkable cellar dates back to 1592, when it came into the ownership of Vitus of Rzawy from the old Czech family of the vladyce. In the cellar you can see a historic wooden press from 1862. In 2011, the Minaříks reconstructed the wine cellar and extended it with another corridor, in addition to the original one from the 16th century and the second one from the early 20th century. Further reconstruction is planned for the near future - the upper part should add accommodation with seating for visitors to the winery. Processing is carried out using a combination of modern and traditional vinification methods. Red wines are prepared by open maceration in vats. All wines are then aged in wooden barrels and, after training, stored in stainless steel tanks and gradually bottled. Annual production does not exceed 10 000 litres, of which about 4 000 are bottled.
