Winery Káfuněk

The Káfuněk winery was founded in 2008, but its idea goes back a little longer. Even before his college studies in viticulture and wine making, Tomas Káfuněk was already a great admirer of not only the consumption, but especially the production of wine. Despite his difficult beginnings in a county without a wine entity, he walked a path that took others generations, and in a few short years he went from being a wine admirer to an excellent winemaker and viticulturist. However, the achievements of Káfuněk Winery do not end there, in the short time of its operation, two wine exhibitions have been held, which have enjoyed considerable popularity and a large number of exhibitions have showcased a considerable number of samples of wines from the range of Káfuněk Winery, which have won numerous awards. Nowadays, the Káfuněk Winery operates in a modernised cellar in Velké Bílovice, the cellar has been modernised both for the technical purposes of the winery - wine production and its subsequent processing and preservation, and for the organisation of celebrations, tastings and demonstrations of wine production for its admirers. The wine production comes from four vineyards located in the municipality of Rakvice in the vineyard line Kozí horky. The vineyards are planted with varieties such as Tramín Red, Zweigeltrebe, Pinot Noir and Frankovka. The grapes are then processed using proven methods to produce wines of excellent taste and quality.
