The company is based in the traditional wine-growing village of Rakvice, which is located in the heart of the renowned wine sub-region of Velkopavlovice in South Moravia. RAVIS obtains the basic raw material for production from its parent company, which processes grapes from more than 200 ha of its own or contracted vineyards in the region. Other major suppliers of wine are wineries from Italy and France. In marketing, the company relies on naturalness and simplicity. It seeks to draw the customer in and strengthen their wine tasting expertise and knowledge. Currently, RAVIS sells more than 2 million bottles a year. Since its inception, the company has seen a unique growth and success rate in wine sales. It is also the absolute leader in the sale of ice and straw wines in the country.
