Tasovice winery

The Tasovice winery is part of the Hodonice Agricultural Cooperative. The total area of the vineyards is almost 100 hectares in the vineyards Skalka in the village of Krhovice, Kamenný vrch, Stará hora and Staré vinohrady in the village of Tasovice. The Tasovice winery processes only part of the grape production, the rest is intended for sale. Due to the size of the vineyards, the company's philosophy is to process grapes from the same vineyard village, vineyard line, part of the vineyard and location every year. This is the only way to compare and enjoy the subtle differences from one vintage to the next. In the historical archive, it is possible to go back in time to 1959. An interesting feature of our vineyards is the very different geological subsoil. The Skalka vineyard in Krhovice is part of the Carpathian foreland. The vineyards Kamenný vrch and Stará hora in Tasovice are part of the Bohemian Massif. Together with the different climatic conditions, altitude, slope, sunlight and many other small factors, the same variety also gives the same wine a different character. Our winery processes the grapes using traditional technology and modern equipment. The emphasis is on quality harvesting and gentle pressing. We are assisted in fermentation by controlled fermentation technology. The total production of the winery is up to 30,000 bottles of mostly appellation wines. Our wines are also included in the VOC Znojmo system (Wines of Original Certification Znojmo), which is a new appellation system that favours the origin of the grapes over the sugar content achieved. The winery is located in the renovated premises of the company headquarters with wheelchair access.
