About the winery
The small family business was founded in 1990 by the father of the current owner, Marcela Hříbalová, Jan Petrák, and that is why our sects bear his name. The company manages 10 hectares of its own vineyards, where we grow mostly grapes suitable for the production of sparkling wines. All the vineyards have been under organic farming for several years and produce grapes with the "BIO" certificate. We have been producing sparkling wine only using the classic champagne method since the winery was founded. In the cellars of our winery, the wines are aged not only in standard 0.75 litre bottles, but secondary fermentation also takes place in 1.5 litre and 3 litre bottles. We also focus on the production of really big bottles of sparkling wine, in volumes of up to 18 litres, which is a specialty in the Czech Republic. Our specialty is sparkling wine with 24-carat gold flakes, which we have been producing since the mid-1990s.
