Winery Jindřich Opluštil

Our family winery was founded in 1978, when a lager cellar with a pressing plant was built. At the same time, we expanded the area of vineyards and currently cultivate 7000 vines in a wide range of both white and blue varieties. The vineyards are planted on land with a gentle slope of south-eastern and south-western exposure in the cadastral area of the municipality of Čejkovice, which extends in the warmest region of southern Moravia. The aim of our activity is to grow healthy and well-ripened grapes. The grapes are harvested at the time of the best aromatic ripeness and processed using gentle technology - we press them on a pneumatic press. Our philosophy is to produce the highest quality, varietally pure quality and appellation wines. We archive and store selected wines from each vintage for further maturation. Our specialty is the production of straw wine in limited quantities. We invite all wine lovers and connoisseurs to visit our winery, where you can enjoy the various fruity and floral notes of our wines. By appointment, we organize a guided tasting for a group of 10 people and the sale of wine directly from the cellar, which can be found in the quiet surroundings of Mezi sklepy street. In summer, seating in front of the cellar is also available for cyclists.
