Koníček Winery

Small family winery with an annual production of 5000 bottles of wine. The production and maturation of wines is carried out in our own cellars using traditional technology. Most of the wine production is officially classified as appellation wines and of course bottled. The varietal composition of the wines on offer regularly includes more than 12 varieties. The wine cellar, dug in the sandstone sediment of the Mesozoic seabed with a stable temperature, creates ideal conditions for the production and ageing of wines. The underground passages are up to 15 metres below the surface. The sensitively renovated press room retains the original "preshaus" style and has been adapted for seating visitors to the wine cellar. The building is designed to be both a listed building and a national treasure and can accommodate up to 60 people. And it wouldn't be a visit to the Znojmo region without tasting cucumbers, pickled according to an old recipe of the original inhabitants of the German Sudetenland. A selection of hot cottage food and cold snacks is arranged when booking a visit to the wine cellar.
