Škrobák Winery - Čejkovice

The story of our winery is also the story of our family. For generations, our family has been firmly linked to Čejkovice and the cultivation of grapes. Winemaking has always been a part of life in Čejkovice, and when new opportunities opened up, Stanislav Škrobák was one of the first to devote himself fully to winemaking. He believed in the great potential of family winemaking. From the beginning he bet on his own vineyards. Making wine from your own vineyards is, in our opinion, the basic prerequisite on the road to perfect wine. Only in our own vineyards will we achieve the highest quality. Today we farm 12 hectares of vineyards and are constantly looking for suitable sites and expanding our vineyards. We are also aware of the importance of protecting the environment and therefore manage all our vineyards organically. We are also environmentally friendly when processing grapes. Our wines are therefore honest and reflect the Čejkovice terroir. Our sons Martin and Stanislav, graduates of Mendel University, have also inherited our love for winemaking. Together with Ladislava, Martin's wife, they are now fully engaged in running the winery. This new generation realises that the wine experience is perfect when seen in a broader context. Wine, of course, tastes best where it was born and this environment must enhance the experience. That's why today's wineries are very attentive to modern architecture and the pairing of wine with food. Our speciality is white wines. However, we can also produce excellent red wines, especially Pinot Noir, which is a very successful variety. Wine can, of course, be tasted and drunk all the time. However, it plays a very important role at parties, weddings and wherever there is a good mood. That is why we decided to build a space in our winery that will be used for these events.
