Open day on the topic: leaf nutrition as a response to climate change

Dear winemakers, as part of the Open Day we have invited Ing. Vít Paulíček from EPS Biotechnology. He will talk not only about Alternative Plant Nutrition in long periods of drought, but the topic will be extended to the effect of alternative nutrition on the diversity of microorganisms in the soil. He will also present the results of a project we have carried out together. The ReVit project focused on the development and testing of a biodynamic product to increase the vigour of the vine. The primary criterion for assessing efficacy was the change in diversity and structure of the microbial community in the soil and on vine organs, monitored after application of the product. The data obtained indicated that sufficient diversity within each microbial group is critical for successful plant adaptation and resistance to disease and stress factors.
