Experience the unforgettable atmosphere of the largest St. Martin's Day wine tasting. The Wine Fund is organizing the 21st edition of the traditional first wine basket of the new vintage. Join us for a toast on 11 November at 11.00 a.m. on Svobody Square in Brno. Experience the unforgettable atmosphere of the biggest St. Martin's Day wine tasting.

Every year, the St. Martin's Basket offers 100 types of wine from winemakers from Moravia and Bohemia. A procession led by St. Martin on a white horse passes through the centre of Brno, St. Martin then ceremoniously opens a bottle on Liberty Square at 11.00 a.m. Pre-sale tickets online. Admission to the event is 80 CZK, for which visitors receive a glass, a catalogue and a rechargeable chip, which they can charge with any amount, which is then paid for by wine samples. A sample of wine (0.5 dcl) will cost CZK 15. There is dulcimer music playing. Refreshments can be bought in the adjacent stalls.
